When Peace Like a River… In the Bible peace is far more than inner tranquility. The kingdom of God means love, justice, and peace in a society on earth, as in heaven.
God's Peace Is Very Jewish. In Jesus' time, peace (shalom) meant 3 things.
- Material prosperity
- Loving relationships with God, family, Israel, and other nations
- Moral goodness and integrity
Peace Today. We are not doing well with shalom peace in the US and the world today.
