Economy and Pleasure
The falseness and silliness of the economic ideal of competition is one of the causes of the issues surrounding the land. Unlimited competition results in an unlimited concentration of economic power. Economic anarchy tends inevitably toward domination by the strongest. “A community cannot survive under the rule of competition.” <Walmart, by being competitive, destroyed many communities.>
Can we afford the economic reality? Please comes from creation. God created all things for his pleasure (Rev 4:11). Pleasure perfects work. Defining all hard work as drudgery has led to work that is not fulfilling and not pleasure.
